Hole-in-One Winner Hits Shot for
100,000 Air Miles Reward Miles
EDMONTON, Alberta - Local golfer Jim Razzo calculated the perfect loft and the perfect distance and now he's calculating what he'll do with 100,000 AIR MILES reward miles. Razzo hit and sunk his tee shot at the Gilead Charity Classic on June 2, 2008 at the Links in Spruce Grove and became the season's first hole-in-one winner in the Morgex Insurance Charity Golf Program.
Razzo won the 100,000 AIR MILES reward miles that were up for grabs at the sixth hole when he sunk his shot 165 yards away.
"It was quite the shot," said Derek Gibson, one of the members of Morgex's Charity Golf Program team. Gibson and fellow team member, Mario Scrivano, witnessed Razzo complete the feat. "It just landed and rolled right into the cup."
